The Community Foundation of South Alabama awarded six grants in the amount of $32,330 from the Clyde C. Snyder Art and Classical Music Fund supporting programs and events that integrate arts in curricular activities and bring the arts to at-risk youth, low-income families, senior citizens and people with disabilities.
The community foundation is a public charity that plays a key role in meeting the needs of South Alabama through leadership and grants.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) released the Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles, an agreement signed by 34 banks, including the original eight of the nation’s leading banks, that covered nine key areas: environmental and social risk management, environmental and social footprint, human rights, women’s economic empowerment, financial inclusion, environmental and social governance, capacity building, collaborative partnerships and reporting.
